Amazon India is inviting applications for the role of Investigator. This is a remote (work-from-home) opportunity best suited for fresh graduates with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. The role involves investigating e-commerce risk and fraud while maintaining high standards of accuracy and judgment. It is a fixed term role of 1 year.
As an Investigator, you’ll play a critical role in analyzing seller transactions and ensuring trust and safety within Amazon’s vast online marketplace. You will work with minimal supervision and make decisions independently to uphold customer trust.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and evaluate transactions to detect potential fraud and risk.
- Take actions based on Amazon’s defined standard operating procedures.
- Document findings with clear and concise annotations.
- Communicate with internal teams and external customers via email or phone.
- Analyze large data sets and escalate inconsistencies to the appropriate teams.
- Maintain high productivity and quality standards.
- Understand key performance metrics to align with business goals.
- Collaborate with team members, analysts, and engineers regularly.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Graduate in any discipline (mandatory)
- Experience: 0 – 1 year (Freshers eligible)
- Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to interpret and analyze large volumes of data
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
