Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Process Associate – Due Diligence/AML/KYC, you will work on compliance-related operations for a global investment bank. Your key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing alerts for sanctions, adverse media, and politically exposed persons (PEPs).
- Conducting open-source investigations to complete AML reviews.
- Validating and verifying customer documents as per policy.
- Extracting and recording information from internal systems.
- Communicating with clients to obtain KYC documents.
- Performing false positive analysis and escalating true alerts.
- Supporting compliance teams with investigations.
- Meeting service-level agreements and reporting performance metrics.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline
Preferred Experience:
- Prior exposure to AML/KYC operations is an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of KYC processes including CDD, EDD, and CIP
- Familiarity with AML screening tools like World Check, Actimize, Lexis Nexis, Dow Jones
- Experience with regulatory data sources (FINRA, Company House, etc.)
- Understanding of sanctions screening, negative news checks, and watchlist screening
- Proficient in MS Office tools – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
