Roles and Responsibilities
- Data Handling: Assist with data collection, preprocessing, and cleaning. Manage missing values, outlier detection, and feature engineering tasks.
- ML Model Development: Learn and apply various machine learning models (regression, classification, clustering) to solve real-world problems with guidance from senior team members.
- Model Evaluation: Help in evaluating models using suitable metrics and validation techniques to ensure accuracy and performance.
- Experimentation: Participate in iterative experiments involving model tuning and hyperparameter optimization.
- Documentation: Maintain well-organized documentation for code, models, and processes. Present findings in team discussions.
- Skill Development: Engage in continuous learning through mentorship, self-study, and internal training resources.
- Generative AI (Bonus Exposure): Get exposure to Generative AI concepts and projects such as LLMs, pretrained models, and exploratory GenAI tasks (if available).
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to support shared project goals.
Eligibility Criteria
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar fields.
- Good grasp of mathematics (linear algebra, probability, calculus) and basic statistics.
- Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms like linear/logistic regression, decision trees, and clustering methods.
- Familiarity with Python and common libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Scikit-learn.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to interpret and visualize data.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
Good to Have Skills
- Knowledge of Generative AI concepts (LLMs, diffusion models).
- Familiarity with deep learning tools like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience using version control (e.g., Git).
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- A mindset focused on compliance, ethics, and integrity in work.
