Job Description:

Reddit is hiring a Community Specialist who will be based in India and will primarily support community development initiatives in Thailand, while also assisting Reddit’s efforts in the Indian market.

This role involves working closely with community moderators, launching engagement initiatives, and growing the Reddit presence in local markets through strategic community-building activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with local moderators to strengthen Reddit communities in Thailand and India.
• Organize on-platform and virtual events that engage users and enhance community spirit.
• Build a network of content creators and moderators aligned with local interests and trends.
• Drive initiatives to onboard new users from relevant local demographics.
• Provide insights and feedback on moderator activity and user engagement.
• Communicate program updates and community initiatives to bridge the gap between users and moderators.

Eligibility Criteria:

• 1–3 years of experience in online community management or moderation (Reddit, Discord, Facebook Groups, etc.).
• In-depth understanding of Thai culture and community behavior.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
• Based in India with fluency in English; knowledge of Thai is a plus.
